Holy crow! I LOVE what you’re doing with the AtoZ/NaPo blend! I’ve followed your blog and will try to catch up on reading your blended posts over the course of the month. Thanks for stopping by and commenting here!
Hi there! 🙂 thank you for the follow! 🙂
I like your poems, too. 🙂
Just a gentle note, I do separate poems for AtoZ and NaPoWriMo. 🙂
Thank you! See you around? 🙂
Except that your poem forms seems to follow AtoZ, no? Today’s was a kyrielle, for example?
yes. 🙂 that is right. my AtoZ theme is Poetry from AtoZ. 🙂 It’s now April 14 here so my L is a Lanterne. 🙂
I love that approach! I wish I’d thought of it myself.
Thank you! 🙂 You can do it next AtoZ. 🙂 Or on your own. 🙂
Hah! I love this. So clever. If someone told me to write an index poem, I would have no idea where to start. Do you just proceed as you wish, or are you given some instruction? This was so fun to read, Ros!
Wasn’t it fun? The prompter at NaPo always gives links and resources so a poet can see examples of unfamiliar forms. If you here http://www.napowrimo.net/day-twelve-4/ , you can see the Emerson and Brendler examples. I modeled mine, at least initially, after the Brendler poem.
I gotta tell ya–this one rather did me in.
Wowser! I’m so sorry! The power of poetry…?
