(Posting two days late)
Today’s prompt was to write a charm. Unfortunately I didn’t follow all of the directions–my charm doesn’t rhyme. But I have proof through personal experience that it works, at least in the location I’m currently occupying.

A Charm Against Loneliness and Isolation
An unlocked heart with revolving door;
A lifeline to the world, whether tethered or wireless;
The Facebook illusions and truths of approval and love;
Music on the speakers, and wine in the glass;
Sociable chickens, and roosters who won’t take “no”;
Mixed sun and rain with a snorting dog (or three);
A cleansing cry or shower, or both, as needed;
A strengthening belief in the infiniteness of divine mercy and grace.
