Unlikely friendship with an unforgettable pal,
all unreal imagination and unicorn rides,
an undertaking of adventuresome risk,
a trek across tundra under wide open skies
with unforgiving clouds and unrelenting sun,
and under the canopy of stars on deep black
with undulating rainbow lights of the north.
Stretch and breathe
on a mat or a roll
under dimming studio lights;
stretch and breathe and
unearth true north,
unveil the path,
uncommon and fine.

Thank you! I wish I’d taken it! I’ve never seen the borealis live, just in photos and my imagination. That’s a bucket list item for me.
Apparently there were some amazing aurora australis when I was in Tasmania. We slept through them all 😦 I did see them when I was an exchange student. Absolutely amazing.
And thanks–you reminded me that I didn’t give the photo proper attribution. Taken care of now, to the best of my ability.
