V-Day?

vacuous vapidity is what i fight,
a valorous battle against
vandalism, vanity,
vilification, and vituperation;

will I vaporize and vanquish them,
be venerated for the victory?
or will I succumb, vanish into the annals
of history, unmarked and unremarkable
for typical vacillation and vacating the effort?

no matter.
i must venture again into the voracious fray,
persist in the verity-and-virtue quest,
not simply settle for verisimilitude
in the vicinity of the real.

if i must be victim,
let it be to
veracity!
voluptuousness! (or should it be vision?)
and virtue!
